In today's Guardian, Peter Durrant of the Rainbow Saver Anglia Credit Union, uses the response column to outline the real opportunity for credit unions to provide community banking and affordable loans.

Durrant makes the point that one big barrier to credit union growth has been a reluctance to work together. It's time for the movement with government support to seize the opportunity.
